Herkimer Drug Trafficking Spreads Coronavirus

Herkimer’s entrenched drug traffickers are putting us all at risk of heightened pandemic contagion: drug trafficking spreads coronavirus.

Many people have a role in narcotics preparation and distribution. It’s a labor intense business. Illegal drugs pass through lots of hands as they’re processed and delivered to the end drug user. Personal hygiene standards are nonexistent. It only takes a few infected workers to infect entire shipments. The coronavirus can linger for days on surfaces, be transmitted by touch or by air and incubates unseen for up to two weeks inside us as it sheds.  Each little drug packet can be the source of infection for an entire home as the virus establishes itself in new hosts, from where it can spread throughout a community.

Below are two videos of recent narcotics trafficking out of two Jay Smith houses on Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue. Business is again booming.  Large backpacks filled with narcotics packaged for retail distribution come into Smith’s 332 and 326 Pleasant Avenue and are then distributed throughout the community. Each of those big  backpacks you see on the videos could potentially hold hundreds of the small plastic bags used to distribute a range of opioids.

Unworried because you’re not in a prime risk age group? Think again. If you’re a heavy drug user, your immune system’s probably in pretty bad shape, making you low-hanging fruit for a deadly outcome. If you have chronic medial issues, you’re at even greater risk. If you have elderly family members or older friends around you, you’re subjecting them to grave risk. And evolving pandemic news out of Europe and the US indicates that millenials, drug trafficking’s foot soldiers, are now being felled by the coronavirus.

“Tempting to shrug and say the more dead drug dealers, addicts and gang family members the better.”

It’s tempting not to post this warning. Tempting to say a pox on all your houses. Tempting to shrug and say the more dead drug dealers, addicts and gang family members the better. But that would make me no better than you. And there are innocent lives at risk from this latest form of your depraved indifference, and so I have warned you and my community. Be it now on your heads.

Given that I’m old, I suppose our murderous band of neighbors will be eagerly watching to see if the death cart visits our home. And I’ll be watching to see if it stops at theirs.

When this pandemic ends, and I fear it will be a long time, it will be a vastly changed world. We’ll see who’s still standing when that sullen new day dawns.

Herkimer Drug Trafficking and Traffickers – 332 and 326 Pleasant Avenue

Below are recent videos of trafficking out of landlord Jay Smith’s 332 and 326 Pleasant Avenue. Stuff comes in on large backpacks, then is distributed by foot and vehicles.

I’ve grouped the drug trafficking by property. 332 Pleasant’s the most active, with several familiar faces to be seen, notably Alexis Rowe and Kyle Stone.  Alexis is the putative daughter of Amanda West and Cory Rowe.  Blog readers may recall Amanda and Cory’s eviction from 328 Pleasant Avenue after we outed Cory and Alexis’ drug related antics there. And Amanda and Cory’s subsequent aggravated trespassing on our property, featuring a bizarre paid performance by Amanda. (They were arrested.)

Kyle Stone – Hiding or Caught and Released?

What’s with boy-next-door Kyle Stone? A few months ago he was wanted on a felony charge. Yet he’s back at 332 Pleasant with mom, seemingly unconcerned with being on camera. Was he arrested and released under New York’s new catch-and-release bail law? Dunno. Haven’t heard him recently singing his classic “I’m Gonna Sell Crack Until I Die,” or shouting “I’m gonna burn your fuckin’ house down!”in the wee hours. For Kyle, that’s keeping a low profile.

0:01—1:18 Alexis Rowe leaves 332 Pleasant Avenue with army-size backpack. Walks into driveway of house a few doors down from PK’s Pub. (Intersection of Pleasant and King Streets.)
1:19-1:31 A few minutes later, car leaves driveway of property Rowe entered. Turns left on to King St. Assume Rowe got a ride.
1:32-2:29 Rowe returns on foot to 332 Pleasant, walking the length of Pleasant from King. (Partially off camera.) Backpack appears to hang lower.  Stops at Kyle Stone’s mother’s car in driveway of 332, removes something from beneath baby seat—she has a young child–and enters 332.
2:30-4:04 Pack carrying pickup driver exits 332 rear, enters truck and leaves, turning left on King St. (Truck often seen behind 332.)
4:05-9:59 Various arrivals and departures, 332 Pleasant Ave. Kyle Stone seen at 6:55, 9:28 (glaring).
10:00-End 3/6 Pickup driver parks in front of 330 Pleasant Ave., conceals face before approaching 332, safely off camera. Returns to p/u truck with backpack and leaves, turning left on King St. (Off camera).

326 Pleasant Avenue and the Drug Surge

Smith’s house at 326 Pleasant Avenue’s has several long-term tenants, notably the guy we call Shawn of the Shuffling Dead. Before we plastered our house with cameras, Shawn most likely was the one who’d slip into our yard and leave proof of  his continuing grasp of his US Marine infiltration skills.  He’s undoubtedly the one who, pre-cameras, used to spray highly volatilized pesticide into our yard, in the Herkimer tradition of poison thy neighbor.

For years, there’ve  been hefty backpacks coming and going from 326 Pleasant. Whenever we pick up on it and put out some videos, the trafficking moves elsewhere for a while, then resumes. Backpacking’s always the alternate distribution network for Herkimer narcotics, as seen in our Stanley Sykes’ Backpack Empire.

326 Pleasant Avenue Drug Surge Video

Here’s a few recent nights’ drug trafficking out of 326 Pleasant Avenue, home to Smith’s longtime tenants Shawn of the Shuffling Dead and Blondie Dead Eyes. (I think Blondie’s the one in the video.) There may have been more trafficking activity, but despite what the local gangs may think, I don’t spend my days pouring over the surveillance footage. Stream pesticide at us, though, and I start watching.

The Indefatigable Carrie Ann Bass, aka Carrie Ann Collins Bass

3.5.20 Carrie Ann Bass’ New Battered Drug Delivery Vehicle

Nothing can stop her: noted drug and child trafficker Carrie Ann Bass continues trafficking out of Jay Smith’s 341 Eureka Avenue, the other side of Smith’s parking lot from 332 Pleasant Avenue. Carrie’s part of the Stanley Sykes gang, and the first person to harass us when we arrived in Herkimer.  After what seemed a difficult few months for a dejected Carrie, her old broken down car was hauled off by an unmarked tow truck and replaced by the above car. Might be a Fiat that’s seen better days.

Carrie  traffics multiple times daily, but there was no perceptible increase in activity her trafficking when the drugs came in to 332 on 3.5-3.6.20. Nor did I see her receive anything from that shipment, though she could easily be supplied from Eureka Avenue, out of range of our cameras. Perhaps she’s operating out of a different cost center than 332 Pleasant.

An earlier version of this post misidentified one of the trafficking houses as 328 Pleasant Avenue instead of 326 Pleasant Avenue. The Herkimer Post regrets the error.
