Hostess Bass enjoyed a good turnout, with about 30 guests at its nighttime peak. Unlike previous gang parties in the child trafficking lot, this one lacked drug-addled mindwipes howling at the moon and the booming of obscene misogynistic music shaking nearby houses, mostly just the happy shrieking of kids permeating our living room into the wee hours. And some occasionally loud but not totally vile music emanating from parked cars, the volume carefully nuanced to drop just as we were calling the police. Some fireworks, but all legal and an illegal but modest fire bowl crackling away over on the Eureka Avenue side of the parking lot.

Harvey is older now and seemingly into other things—this year he didn’t vandalize our fence or wave parts of his anatomy at our cameras. Boy’s growing up. Great things soon await.
Among the attendees was Kyle (“I’m gonna sell crack until I die”) Stone, who now seems to live at Bass’ 341 Eureka Avenue.
Guests included gang members and neighbors. (But I repeat myself.) Among the attendees was Kyle (“I’m gonna sell crack until I die”) Stone, who now seems to live at Bass’ 341 Eureka Avenue, and a busy few drug runners arriving late, obvious by their bulging backpacks. Given that we weren’t blasted with volatilized pesticides the next morning, some of our resident poison gassers were also probably among the guests and partied late. Can’t say if anyone from drug thug Kim Vargas’ krew at 328 Pleasant Avenue or from the Joyce Barton’s granny-beating gang at 333 Pleasant Ave were in attendance, though Bass, Vargas and Barton have been seen socializing.
Worrisomely absent this year was Harvey’s grandfather, gang leader Stanley Sykes, seen here harassing his blogging neighbors. We’d recently rejected his offer of $1,200. for our house.
Still worrisomely absent again this year was Utica gang chief Stanley Sykes, a self-proclaimed member of the Crips, memorable for offering us $1,200 for our house in the midst of a massive 2017-18 campaign of poison gas attacks on us. (Stanley is hard to miss.) And also Kyle Stone’s crack-selling chum, Xavier Rowe of 326 Pleasant Ave, both Herkimer native sons. Xavier might have been there—didn’t review all the 14 hours of footage.

The three houses of Herkimer’s Historic Child Trafficking Hub—332 and 334 Pleasant Avenue and Bass’ 341 Eureka Avenue, are a traffickers’ sanctuary, owned by landlord Jay Smith. His trafficking hub tenants appear to enjoy the worry-free status of a protected class within Herkimer. Smith’s long been rumored to be selling those three beauties through a land contract. If so, they haven’t closed yet and remain his malignant huckleberries.
Loyal viewers of our herkimerpost.com videos will note we filmed Carrie’s party on a new camera. We’re testing several streaming 4k HD POE cameras at various resolutions. The new generation of surveillance cameras are easily installed, record in MP4, require no decryption and can be monitored on any device from anywhere. And of keen interest to our neighbors, all have great audio. The winning camera model will supplement our hardwired CCTV cameras.
As a courtesy to our neighbors, I’ve posted a few hi-def pixs of the party, suitable for downloading and framing. Enjoy.
Stanley Sykes’ son, an alleged heroin dealer out on bail, is confronted by one of several angry neighbors. Cries of “Child trafficker” were heard. Police interviewed a small blonde girl who visited his house.
On 4/23/17, Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes gang welcomed Spring with a 2 hour street festival of harassment, menacing and mobbing, held center street on Herkimer crime hub Pleasant Avenue. Stanley, wife Becky Sykes and son Kyle live at 341 Eureka Avenue, from which they control both 334 Pleasant Avenue and 341 Eureka’a parking lot activities.
Notable during the mobbing were Carrie Bass, AKA Carrie Ann Bass, of 334 Pleasant Avenue, the chubby gray-clad ball of fury seen in the video. She and her out-on-bail husband were the chief harassers and menacers. Over-the-top aggressive Carrie Bass at one point succeeded in driving folks off of 333 Pleasant Avenue’s porch into the house and had to be physically restrained.
Honorable mention goes to thug chief Stanley Sykes himself, of 341 Eureka, for anchoring the assault line, blessing the festivities with his presence as the young folks surged into action. Stanley Sykes is parking lot pack’s chieftain. Here he is on his way to visit with his harassment soul twin, Joyce Barton of 333 Pleasant Avenue.

Alleged Herkimer Sykes Heroin Dealer Out On Bail
Stanely Sykes son (below) was just arrested on a heroin trafficking charge, according to the overheard anguished wails of his Stanley Sykes family at the time. (Impossible not to hear, 25 yards away, in the parking lot.) The sale of his product supposedly resulted in the death of one of his buyers. The Sykeses and Carrie Bass were heard to complained of the unfairness of the wrongful death charge, as the lad (seen below) was a distributor not a manufacturer, and shouldn’t be held accountable for product safety.

Accusations Fly as Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes Gang Mobs Neighbors
We weren’t on the street for the festivities; we just heard waves of screams and curses and demented wailing. But our surveillance cams were there. Based on much analysis of feeds from multiple cameras, accusations hurled at Skyes’s son seem to have been sparked by what may have been an earlier “interaction” between Stanley Sykes’s out-on-bail son and the young blonde girl from Joyce Barton’s 333 Pleasant Avenue, seen in the video being interviewed by police. the young girl is often seen with the movable feast that are the parking lot kids from 334 Pleasant and 341 Eureka Avenues.

Whatever the cause, Carrie Ann Bass and the Stanley Sykes gang immediately attacked. The Sykes’ gangs street brawl ended with the arrival of the Herkimer police, two hours after the start of events.
Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes Family – A History of Harassment
Oh. If you’re wondering how someone could be out on bail for such a heinous crime as selling poisonous heroin resulting in a death? Well, “It’s Herkimer,” as locals say with a shrug.
The wild-in-the-street Sykes son vanished shortly after this event. Had he been out on bail, he may have violated its conditions. Doesn’t look good for Herkimer to have a heroin dealer free on bail and running amok, even as it sternly declares war on the local wave of opioid deaths.
I don’t know the junior Sykes lad’s first name. He was was featured in our Drunks Along the Mohawk post with its Booze Brothers videos. He’s one of the two seen drinking and harassing others in the street and passing out stuff from an odd orange bag, all in front of the notorious Joyce and Douglas Barton’s 333 Pleasant Avenue. Seems he moved on from alcohol.
The Little Blonde Girl?
Blonde girl from 333 Pleasant Ave visiting kids at 334 Pleasant Ave Sunday, 4/23/17.
The little blonde girl at the 333 Pleasant Avenue is new to the Barton house. And she didn’t seem to have a parent present. She appeared very closed mouthed with the woman police officer who interviewed her. The woman who apparently had charge of her left her at Joyce Barton’s. In the video’s final scene, the girl’s eyes longingly follow her as she drives way.
Herkimer’s long been a child trafficking hub. It’s devilishly hard to spot most child trafficking without training and a flotilla of surveillance drones. I hope she’s isn’t yet another of Herkimer’s trafficked kids.
Aftermath of Herkimer’s Sykes Gang Rampage
It’s been fairly quiet along Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue since the Stanley Sykes mob tore up the street. Stanley Sykes and Joyce Barton appear to remain friends and colleagues. It’s rumored they’ve known each other since Utica.
Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes Gang = 13
Excluding duplicate gang members, I counted 13 in Stanley Sykes’ gang. Most either appear to live at 334 Pleasant or 341 Eureka Avenues, or are such frequent visitors they might as well be. They’re originally from Utica. Check my math using the photo carousel. I wasn’t trying to capture faces–that’s what surveillance drones do.)

Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes’ Parking Lot Gang Readies for Growth?
Stanley Sykes has turned his landlord Jay Smith’s 334 Pleasant – 341 Eureka parking lot (seen below), into an encampment, ready to receive more troops. Given Sykes history, we assume reinforcement are coming from his extended family’s turf in nearby Utica.

Old age and skill will overcome youth and treachery —Night Court
Update 6/22/17. Kiera Stone’s father, gang leader Stanley Sykes, yesterday morning followed me down Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue, harassing me with bellowed obscenities. (“You m-fer, you got ma baby girl locked up!”) If she was arrested, this is two of his kids now in jail . (The son for alleged heroin trafficking, daughter Kiera Stone for at least criminal harassment), even as dad flirts with a criminal harassment charge of his own. Maybe the new Herkimer County jail will have a wing named after them.
I videoed these two fresh Black Dahlias because they kept harassing me from their car when Dog Bear and I walked past 334 Pleasant Avenue. We live two doors down. Thought they wanted attention. Guess not. (For purposes of photography and audio, New York is a one-party consent state.)
As with these lovelies, Herkimer’s drug and child traffickers self-identify by calling photographers pedophiles. Our former neighbor, Herkimer’s Curtis Cool, aka Curtis Doolen, is Herkimer’s best know pedophile-caller, with his best performance viewed for over 154 hours by 2,356 people on 6 continents. Drug traffickers especially hate street surveillance cameras, as they reveal traffickers and trafficking patterns.

The driveway of 341 Eureka Avenue (white house, rear) is blocked. The only way into and out of the parking lot is via the driveway of 334 Pleasant Avenue. It sees a lot of visitors and vehicles. The porch serves as a lookout post. Good luck getting past Sykes gang’s Carrie Ann Bass, aka Carrie Ann Collins-Bass. (Next video.)
The Attack of the Witless Witches
I’d been assaulted before on Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue for videoing. So I set up a camera snare before returning to capture the Black Dahlias’ license plate for posterity. The three witless witches had no clue.
I tottered by them on my way home from the grocery store. Turning, I filmed their license plate. It went better than I’d hoped–gang thug Kiera Stone, the ballsiest of Herkimer’s harassing harpies, (see below video), ripped my cellphone from my hand and called 911 to report I’d hit her with it. Her friend tried but failed in her role as Kiera Stone’\’s keeper, while her sister-in-law, Herkimer’s Carrie Bass, aka Carrie Ann Colins-Bass, lied through her venomous lips.
Here’s the combined cellphone and minicam footage:
Carrie Ann Bass, Sykes gang’s 334 Pleasant Avenue’s resident guardian-toad.
Perhaps they thought the minicam on my label was a pacemaker. (I’m old.) It faithfully recorded the new harassment, the assault and the theft of my phone. (Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree; Harassment in the First Degree.) None of them were aware of the surveillance camera on their activities. This footage gave the lie to Kiera Stone and her drug and child trafficking relatives’ accusation:
The Herkimer Police Respond
The Herkimer Police arrived, Officers Bowman and Hill. They confirmed that Kiera Stone had called 911, saying I’d hit her in the face with my cellphone and repeated the allegation to them. (Falsely Reporting an Incident in the Third Degree.) No one was arrested. The officers didn’t see the surveillance or minicam footage–those required downloading. They did see the cellphone clips of the two harassment incidents. I was invited to file a complaint.
(If I lay gut shot and dying on Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue, the last voice I’d probably ever hear would be that of a Herkimer police officer asking, “Do you want to file a complaint?”)
Herkimer’s Brazen New Gang – The Stanley Sykes Gang
Herkimer’s harassing harpies were the first sign that the village had a brazen new gang with city roots, come north to stake claim to a large chunk of Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue. And that they were aggressively camera shy–probably for good reason. (They were later revealed to be the Stanley Sykes gang out of Utica.)
Herkimer’s homegrown gangs of late have tried to stay off the radar, preferring stealth to confrontation and darkness to light. Not these guys: They’re in-your-face aggressive, trying to intimidate through harassment. When that fails, they immediately escalate to assault or mobbing. It’s urban street gang tactics. It’s a brave new world for Herkimer crime. Stay tuned: The Herkimer Post is watching.
