Carrie Ann Bass Hosts Party At Herkimer’s Historic Child Trafficking Hub

Herkimer’s Historic Child Trafficking lot was the venue for a June 5th child-centric party, hosted by Sykes’ Gang drug and child trafficker Carrie Ann Bass, aka Carrie Ann Collins Bass. The occasion appeared to be the birthday of Bass’ son Harvey, Stanley Skye’s grandson. (Harvey’s dad’s in prison for heroin trafficking and complicity in the death of a user.) This has become an annual Herkimer happening, signaled by a crew appearing at first light and erecting an inflatable siege tower next to our house.

Hostess Bass enjoyed a good turnout, with about 30 guests at its nighttime peak. Unlike previous gang parties in the child trafficking lot, this one lacked drug-addled mindwipes howling at the moon and the booming of obscene misogynistic music shaking nearby houses, mostly just the happy shrieking of kids permeating our living room into the wee hours. And some occasionally loud but not totally vile music emanating from parked cars, the volume carefully nuanced to drop just as we were calling the police. Some fireworks, but all legal and an illegal but modest fire bowl crackling away over on the Eureka Avenue side of the parking lot.

Harvey is older now and seemingly into other things—this year he didn’t vandalize our fence or wave parts of his anatomy at our cameras. Boy’s growing up. Great things soon await.

Among the attendees was Kyle (“I’m gonna sell crack until I die”) Stone, who now seems to live at Bass’ 341 Eureka Avenue.

Guests included gang members and neighbors. (But I repeat myself.) Among the attendees was Kyle (“I’m gonna sell crack until I die”) Stone, who now seems to live at Bass’ 341 Eureka Avenue, and a busy few drug runners arriving late, obvious by their bulging backpacks. Given that we weren’t blasted with volatilized pesticides the next morning, some of our resident poison gassers were also probably among the guests and partied late. Can’t say if anyone from drug thug Kim Vargas’ krew at 328 Pleasant Avenue or from the Joyce Barton’s granny-beating gang at 333 Pleasant Ave were in attendance, though Bass, Vargas and Barton have been seen socializing.

Herkimer gang head Stanley Sykes
Worrisomely absent this year was Harvey’s grandfather, gang leader Stanley Sykes, seen here harassing his blogging neighbors. We’d recently rejected his offer of $1,200. for our house.

Still worrisomely absent again this year was Utica gang chief Stanley Sykes, a self-proclaimed member of the Crips, memorable for offering us $1,200 for our house in the midst of a massive 2017-18 campaign of poison gas attacks on us. (Stanley is hard to miss.) And also Kyle Stone’s crack-selling chum, Xavier Rowe of 326 Pleasant Ave, both Herkimer native sons. Xavier might have been there—didn’t review all the 14 hours of footage.

The three houses of Herkimer’s Historic Child Trafficking Hub—332 and 334 Pleasant Avenue and Bass’ 341 Eureka Avenue, are a traffickers’ sanctuary, owned by landlord Jay Smith. His trafficking hub tenants appear to enjoy the worry-free status of a protected class within Herkimer. Smith’s long been rumored to be selling those three beauties through a land contract. If so, they haven’t closed yet and remain his malignant huckleberries.

Loyal viewers of our herkimerpost.com videos will note we filmed Carrie’s party on a new camera. We’re testing several streaming 4k HD POE cameras at various resolutions. The new generation of surveillance cameras are easily installed, record in MP4, require no decryption and can be monitored on any device from anywhere. And of keen interest to our neighbors, all have great audio. The winning camera model will supplement our hardwired CCTV cameras.

As a courtesy to our neighbors, I’ve posted a few hi-def pixs of the party, suitable for downloading and framing. Enjoy.

Jay Smith Gifts Herkimer Drug and Child Traffickers a Sanctuary

In a Yuletide surprise, longtime area landlord Jay Smith gifted Herkimer drug and child traffickers a sanctuary. Smith owns 27 houses in our village, according to property tax rolls. He’s long rented out the three properties comprising Herkimer’s historic child trafficking hub to drug and child traffickers: 332 and 334 Pleasant Avenue and 341 Eureka Avenue. At its height, we estimate hundreds of million dollars a year in trafficked kids were moved through that Herkimer waypoint by transcontinental trafficking gangs. Several million dollars a year were probably shared with partnering regional Herkimer gangs. Kids seem not to have moved through there since the Sykes’ gang’s Stanley Sykes moved out of 341 Eureka Avenue last May.

Hub was handed over to Stanley Sykes gang by Little Mama a few days later. Sykes used to bellow he’d bought the rights to traffic out of there.

This week, in a Christmas gift to the Herkimer community, Smith converted that dormant child trafficking hub into a housing sanctuary for the remnant of Herkimer’s drug and child traffickers: He tenanted 332 Pleasant Avenue, the last non-gang house on the hub, with more gang members.

Smith owns all three hub houses. Herkimer real estate is booming. The house could easily have been rented to people who work for a living rather than  traffickers.

Thanks to climate change migration Herkimer’s real estate market is booming. Smith could easily have sold all three hub properties for good money, or rented 332 Pleasant to people with jobs. At this point in Herkimer, renting to criminals flies in the face of reason.

Jay Smith’s Trafficking Hub: 4+ years of  Gassing and Harassment

In our 4+ years in Herkimer, successive national and regional child and drug traffickers have operated out of Smith’s child trafficking hub, which our house overlooks. They and their allies harassed and gassed us, destroyed our property and hurt our pets. Our poor old dog never recovered from being gassed in her basement den from Smith’s trafficking hub

Jay Smith criminal tenant Stanley Sykes
Jay Smith trafficking hub tenant, gang chief Stanley Sykes, comes by to harass us again. .

Appallingly, quite a few folks in Herkimer, not just the obvious criminals, seemed miffed at our exposure of the village’s brisk child sex slavery trade and disconcerted by the resulting loss of income. (“Our kids are our kids. Other people’s kids are meat,” seems the attitude.) At some point, merely shrugging your shoulders and saying, “It’s Herkimer” is depraved indifference.

Smith quickly replaced Stanley Sykes at 341 Eureka with the Sykes gang’s Carrie Ann Bass. He filled Bass’ former trafficking house at 334 Pleasant Avenue with other gang members, first making modest improvements to both properties. High volume narcotics trafficking replaced the child trafficking out of Smith’s hub and gang members partied hearty. Fresh video coverage by us helped put an end to that in November.

The one bright spot in Jay Smith’s adjacent empire of dirt was his rental house next to ours, 332 Pleasant Avenue. It was tenanted for years by two low key professional guys who replaced evicted heroin addicts. They were our secure right flank through years of poison gas attacks and street assaults, many from Smith’s tenants.

Why is Jay Smith Still Renting to Criminal Trafficking Gang?

There was no sound business reason for Jay Smith to rent to more filth. He seems to be well off and is not young. Other than his trafficking hub tenants, there’s only a legacy criminal presence remaining here on Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue.  All houses for sale here on Pleasant Avenue have been sold.  Properties move quickly. Realtors are hungry for inventory.  Yet Smith seems to be busy preserving his trafficking hub as a gang sanctuary, when he could easily make a handsome profit by selling out or renting again to decent locals in an upmarket. Why?

As we reported, the New York State Police asked us recently if we thought Smith was complicit in the criminal activities of his tenants. We said no. At this point, though, it’s the only thing that makes sense. When something doesn’t make sense, follow the money.

As noted, Jay Smith owns 27 houses in Herkimer. It’s a small place. He has the capacity to do a lot of good here, giving back to a community from which he’s profited handsomely through the years. Or he can continue acquiescing to evil. Whichever he chooses, the Herkimer Post will cover it.

Video of Gang Move-In at 332 Pleasant Avenue

Here’s a video of trafficking gang members moving into Jay Smith’s 332 Pleasant Avenue. (Don’t know what that white powder is in the bag he’s waving at the camera. Confectionery sugar?) They had 3 full truckloads of stuff. They obviously don’t like surveillance cameras, which must be why they moved next door to a house with 25 cameras fueling about 200,000 worldwide social media views a year.   Oh. Our cameras cover all their doors.

The short smirking young woman on the porch is Herkimer gang member Alexis Rowe, known to us as Moonroof, after the white car she traffics with in and out of the hub. Don’t know anyone else there, but they are of a type—infinitely replaceable young gang cutouts moving along the school to prison pipeline. Many don’t make it to 30.

Herkimer’s Child Trafficking Sykes Gang

Hits: 4432

Stephen Ames Berry

In August 2016, child trafficking cartel conductors Little Mama and Pretty Boy relocated, handing their organization’s longtime Herkimer trafficking transit hub over to Stanley Sykes and his gang for safekeeping.  The hub, at 341 Eureka Avenue  trafficked, 1,000-2,000 kids a year through Herkimer, a small Upstate New York village. Regional child trafficking management was probably concerned about the growing number of law enforcement surveillance drones over Herkimer Village. The assumption was that they were hunting drug traffickers, but they could also be hunting child traffickers.

Sykes and his putative wife Becky replaced Little Mama in 341 Eureka Avenue, with daughter-in-law Carrie Ann Bass living in 334 Pleasant Avenue. They’re  till still there. Their houses anchor both ends of the child trafficking  lot.  As with trafficker Little Mama before them, they rent from Herkimer landlord Jay Smith.

Stanley Sykes Mission in Herkimer’s Premier Child Trafficking Spot

From his activities over the last 18 months, Sykes and his gang have a two-fold mission: emptying our house of us and making a go of their own child exploitation activities. Before his allies told him to shut it, Stanley had bragged about the $10k bonus he’d receive for getting rid of us. Despite four years of harassment and many poison gas attacks, we’re still here. The location of our house astride the child trafficking lot makes it a must-have as the area’s next criminal controlled house. Just see the map below.

Herkimer gas attacks map
Herkimer Gas Attacks Map – March 2018

The silent torrent of trafficked kids through that parking lot was rerouted when Little Mama moved on. Sykes has tried to monetize the location, even paying a franchise fee for the privilege, or so he’s loudly declared.

A child trafficked for sex in the US can net his or her handlers $100k a year  or more, according to figures from humanrightsfirst.org.    This quote appeared in Ark of Hope for Children, which rescues trafficked kids. There are only a few hundred arrests per year for child trafficking. The FBI has sole jurisdiction over this crime. As we’ve witnessed in Herkimer,it’s because  local police officers are susceptible to enticement by cash heavy child traffickers.

Child trafficking’s much safer and can be more profitable for criminals  than selling even heroin, which is what Stanley Sykes’s son was allegedly arrested for here–that and complicity in the death of one of his users.  It seems to us that Stanley’s given many years of loyal service to Mohawk Valley gangs as an on-call thug, and is looking to finally make his fortune in the dark world of low-risk, high-profit child exploitation.

Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes Tries the Child Exploitation Market

Stanley Sykes with trafficked child
Stanley Sykes, threatening and blustering at our door. The kid’s not one of his children. Herkimer criminals believe hoods thwart facial recognition programs. If a kid’s wearing a hood and you don’t know him or see him again, he’s probably trafficked.

With the exception of a few vital cameras, we don’t hover over our camera feeds. But if we see something odd or alarming, we pull the clips and have a look. From those videos, it seems Sykes and his crew are trying to supplement their drug trafficking income with child exploitation. Here’s what we have for videos to date. We probably missed most of it, but the clips lend some insight into what he’s tried.

Stanley Throws a Kids’ Party

Taking a page from child trafficker ally and probable child exploiter Curtis Cool, Stanley threw a party for some of the neighborhood kids and their parents.

“Child Exploitation: The Pretender — Someone who pretends to be something s/he is not, such as a boyfriend, a big sister, a father, a friendly neighbor.” (“Seeing Through the Disguise” iEmpathize is a youth empowerment program that teaches kids to recognize child sex exploiters.)

Through a Glass Darkly – Justin and Larry

Trafficked teens who introduced themselves as Justin and Larry, exit the back of Stanley Sykes’s 341 Eureka Avenue.  They followed dog Bear and I  to pat Bear.

Conversations with trafficked kids are rare and brief, says the Ark of Hope for Children. Things to look for are little or no schooling, evasiveness as to where they live and responses that aren’t age-appropriate. See what you think: our full exchange is described on YouTube.

Never saw Larry and Justin again. And I’ve been watching.

Kids Drift In and Out Like Smoke Along Pleasant Avenue – Herkimer’s Distributed Child Trafficking

The little blonde girl was apparently stashed at Joyce Barton’s house (across the street, off camera) for a week weeks. then vanished.

Major child trafficking networks have the resources to do volume–lot’s of kids, lots of transfer points and final destinations.

The child trafficking wannabees like the regional Herkimer gangs don’t have the same resources as  major league traffickers they cooperate with.  The locals are dependent upon trafficking kids one or a few at a time, whom they distributed among members’ houses.

Newly  Trafficked Herkimer Kids Here Today, Then Gone

They may be here for weeks, or only seen once.  We’ve seen them pass through 328 Pleasant Avenue (Curtis Cool), 333 Pleasant Avenue (Joyce Barton), 334 Pleasant Avenue (Sykes gang–Carrie Ann Bass), and Stanley Sykes’s 341 Eureka Avenue.   Some of the supposedly vacant houses behind ours, on Eureka Avenue will sometimes have kids for a few days, then the kids vanish and the houses stay empty for a while.

It’s likely that kids held at traffickers’ houses for a longer time are in greater need of grooming, which the Canadian Global News defines as “…win[ning] a  child’s trust and co-operation, which decreases the chances of them telling anyone about the abuse.”

The little blonde girl in the above video was stashed at Joyce Barton’s 333 Pleasant Avenue for several weeks, then vanished. She was a frequent visitor to the Sykes’ gang’s 334 Pleasant Avenue, presided over by Carrie Ann Bass. Most kids who are passed through we either don’t notice or miss recording.  We only noticed  her because the Sykes gang had chosen that day to rampage Pleasant Avenue, in farewell to Stanley Sykes’s heroin-dealing son, then out on bail.

Of the blonde girl’s only friends, the boy in the blue shirt, Harvey,  is a Sykes gang family member. We never saw the other girls again.

What  A Well-Groomed Trafficked Child Looks Like

Publishing the clips of the little blonde girl and her friends, we mentioned   that she and they may have been trafficked. Suddenly all unknown kids at the Sykes’ gang locations sprouted winter jackets with hoods up–notably on warm days. Of course, it only marked them as potentially trafficked.

Most of the trafficked kids we’ve seen arrive well-groomed: happy, hopeful–fresh. They’re ready to be moved on. Here’s a new little girl arriving with Carrie Ann Bass.  Bass and the girl are crossing from Barton’s 333 Pleasant Avenue to the Sykes gang’s 334 Pleasant Avenue.

The little girl has her few things with her.  She seems happy, excited but a bit anxious. She looks trustingly at Carrie Ann. Carrie Ann’s proven many times that she’s just another thug and depraved trafficker.

Sleepy Truck Boy

You wouldn’t notice anything wrong, looking at this sweet clip of mother and child, unless you were looking for signs of child sexual exploitation and trafficking. Just a mom arriving a friend’s house with her kid, then later taking her sleepy boy home. But in our 4 years on Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue, we’ve seen many signs of drug use by our murderous band of neighbors to manipulate and control children. Kids to them are but weapons or a cash crop. Any interaction between adults and kids merits always merits a closer look:

1409 hrs – Man, woman and boy arrive by truck at Sykes gang’s 334 Pleasant Avenue, a drug and child trafficking transmit point presided over by Carrie Ann Bass
1409 – Woman and boy enter house. Man waits in car
1428 –  Semiconscious boy is carried from 334 by woman; met by man.
1429 –  Semiconscious boy secured in truck. Truck drives off – 20 minutes from wide awake and walking  to semiconscious and carried.

We suspect the boy was given one of the pre – anesthetic drugs used as date rape drugs, such as rohypnol or ketamine.  Given the flow of drugs into and out of Herkimer and the Sykes gang’s obvious trafficking of them out of 334 Pleasant Avenue, either drug could have been easily obtained. The drugs act quickly, which is why they’re used at parties and clubs. They make a child more cooperative in an  exploitation situation.

Stanley Sykes’ daughter Kyra told us she’s a nurse. Given her violent sociopathic behaviors, we doubt it, but we don’t doubt she administers drugs to kids.

Stanley Sykes’ House – Little Boy Gone

We’ve never seen two more shame-faced people as the young couple in the video above. The camera doesn’t do their guilt-wracked faces justice. The woman took that kid into Sykes’ and the couple fled. Never saw them again; never saw the boy again.

Anything’s possible once you come to the horrific conclusion that you live among a murderous band of depraved drug and child traffickers. They traffic heroin and kids, pimp out their own children and try to kill neighbors they can’t drive off. (See our poison gas attacks videos.)

Such heinous filth will have a way to dispose of dead kids who’ve inconvenienced them. Herkimer has several human crematoria, one pet crematory, three major waterways, and the forests of the Southern Adirondacks just to the north.

At any one time, 300,000 children are being trafficked in the United States. Many of them go missing.

Trafficked Kids Being Slipped into Sykes Gang’s 334 Pleasant Avenue

4/8/17 Trafficked teens being slipped into Herkimer’s traditional child trafficking transit point in the dead of night. It’s the parking lot spanning 334 Pleasant Avenue and 341 Pleasant Avenue. Both are controlled by Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes’ gang, long-time tenants of Herkimer landlord Jay Smith.

Trafficked children may be quickly be forwarded to their final destinations in some major metropolitan area, there to be broken in as captive slaves.  [The]…average life span of a [child trafficked for sex] is…7 years, found dead from attack, abuse, HIV and other STD’s, malnutrition, overdose or suicide,” reports the Ark of Hope for Children.

Trafficked Herkimer Kids We Don’t See

Ours is one of the last houses around that ghastly parking area either not vacant or not controlled by Herkimer’s regional gangs. We probably only pick up on about 10% of neighboring child trafficking, our cameras being positioned to protect our place, and the traffickers trying to keep off camera.

For more about Herkimer’s trafficked kids, the criminals who profit from them and the seeming millions of dirty dollars produced by this heinous industry in our pastoral village, see our other child trafficking posts.

“Herkimer’s dirty and likes it that way.”

For the price we’ve paid to find and present this Herkimer child trafficking data, follow this link to our blog’s Poisoning section.  This is our 14th month of poison gas attacks. As I type, the evening gas attacks on our house have begun. (To be fair, Stanley Sykes did offer us $1,500 for our home.)

Our troubles are small compared to the fate of the thousands of children trafficked through unseeing Herkimer.  As a former federal agent I know said, “Herkimer’s dirty and likes it that way.”

Herkimer Child Trafficking Hub Handover

In my first two Herkimer child trafficking posts,  We’re Sorry We Didn’t Notice and Dead Kids Walking,  I told how we belatedly tumbled to a longtime major child trafficking operation almost in our own backyard. We estimate 1,000-2,000  kids a year were trafficked through our neighborhood, making Herkimer a valued transit node in a transcontinental human trafficking network.

In August 2016, the child trafficking cartel which had for years so efficiently ran the Herkimer trafficking hub relocated, handing it over to Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes gang for safekeeping. This post looks at that handover.

In August 2016 a Herkimer child trafficking hub handover occurred. Only after this event did we puzzle out what had happened.  (The most successful of child trafficking is artfully concealed in plain sight.)

Security cam footage of our long-time neighboring  child trafficking cartel conductors moving out and turning their site over to Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes gang. L. to r. Sykes gang’s Carrie Ann Bass, and cartel conductors Little Mama and Pretty Boy. The little boy in the truck bed is not a trafficked child. He came with landlord Jay Smith’s agent, who oversaw the transfer from Little Mama to the Sykes gang.

A few days before, traffickers Little Mama (LM) and Pretty Boy (PB) had shipped their last consignment of trafficked kids though this 341 Eureka Avenue Herkimer transfer point. 341 Eureka was a critical node in a large regional child trafficking network through which as many as 2,000 kids a year moved from recruitment to exploitation as sex workers. They’d arrive during the day, then be slipped away a night or two later.

Our fir tree’s branches blocked the camera’s view of 341’s back door, but it didn’t block mine. I was watching from my desk below the level of the camera while Pretty Boy earlier loaded 6 small activity centers for little kids, two at a time, into the back of Little Mama’s SUV as it sat backed up to 341 Eureka Ave..

child trafficking Herkimer NY
Little kids’ activity ctr of sort child traffickers removed from 341 Eureka Ave on 8/20/16. I counted 6 of them.

The two young traffickers cleaned up and moved on with experienced efficiency, turning the property over to Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes gang. At the end of the video  Stanley, aka Bob Sykes and family-crew are seen moving into 341 Eureka. They’re still there.

The Sykes gang occupies another house on the parking lot, 334 Pleasant Avenue, off camera to the left, managed by Carrie Ann Bass. From there they trade in drugs and kids and coordinate poison gas attacks on neighbors whose property than want to control.

Both properties were and still are owned by Herkimer landlord Jay Smith, according to property tax records.

Stanley Sykes paid a handsome franchise fee to traffic out of 341, or so we’ve heard him bellow. (He’s often outside, asserting dominance.)

Herkimer Haven For Cash-Heavy Gangs

Historically Herkimer’s welcomed cash-heavy criminal gangs and turned a blind eye when they take control of neighborhoods, such as Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue, and intimidate or drive off law abiding neighbors. (Some Herkimer police officers appear to have been either complicit or towering idiots.) Local officials who can’t be bought are coerced. The  gangs try to quietly poison or kill homeowners they can’t drive away and acquire their property.

We saw Little Mama or Pretty Boy again. A week later, when our only back camera was again covering the arsonist antics of trafficker ally Curtis Cool,  the 341 Eureka bicycle shed vanished, apparently built for ease of transport. and removal of forensic evidence. Given the short timeline of the move out,* it’s probably nearby, home to the same bikes with fresh young riders coming and going daily.

*The U-Haul truck was there when we woke up that morning. The camera was not on that area that night. Little Mama was gone 29 minutes before returning in her SUV with Pretty Boy . He was gone 50 minutes in total. Return trip time probably 15 minutes. Could the truck have been unloaded and returned in 35 minutes? Sure, especially if PB had some help unloading. Would the truck have been unloaded at their new trafficking location? Yes. The child trafficking cartel they work for probably had fresh kids en route to their new transfer point and pickup-delivery arrangements ready for them. Pretty Boy and Little Mama’s new trafficking location is in Herkimer County and within 15 minutes of 341 Eureka Ave. It’s a big operation and time is money.

Dead Kids Walking – Herkimer’s $100 Million Child Trafficking Hub

Hits: 36570

Stephen Ames Berry

“There comes a time when silence is betrayal.” Martin Luther King Jr.

About 300,000 kids are trafficked in the US at any given time. Until August 2016, we estimate that as many as 2,000 a year were moved through this Herkimer NY transfer point, operated out of 341 Eureka Avenue. Some of those kids are probably dead.

Herkimer NY child trafficking hub 341 Eureka Avenue

This regional child trafficking hub distributed between 1,000 and 2,000 trafficked kids a year. It’s still used by Herkimer’s depraved Stanley Sykes gang, who fiercely protect it from nosy neighbors. The three Sykes gang’s houses on the child trafficking hub are owned by their longtime landlord, Jay Smith.

Humanrights.org estimates that each trafficked child nets his or her handlers $100,000 a year. That’s $100-200 million annual income from child trafficking victims hustled through a small Upstate New York village. Some of that money stayed in Herkimer. It helped ensure silence, cooperation, suffering and death: a sex-trafficked child lives about seven years.

These are some of our videos of dead kids walking.

Herkimer Child Traffickers Relocate

On August 20, 2016,  Herkimer’s long-time major child traffickers moved their final lot of kids through their 341 Eureka Avenue trafficking hub.  For months, we’d been the target of a successful campaign of  distraction that kept our security cam and our attention away from that neighboring lot. Only on the regional traffickers’ last day did we swing our backyard camera  on them, puzzled by the large  number of kids who’d suddenly appeared next door. They were whisked away almost as soon after they’d appeared.

“It’s just kids.” Trafficked Kids – Herkimer NY 8/14/16

This is the last consignment of kids being shipped through this Herkimer child trafficking transfer hub at 341 Eureka Avenue. It was a consolidation of three carloads of trafficked children. We had never before seen that many kids passing through at one time. We barely caught the arrival of the final carload on camera. The three vehicles then loaded up and moved on. The property was never used again as a major child trafficking hub.

A few days later the two young traffickers you see in the video, dubbed by us Little Mama and Pretty Boy, cleaned out and turned Herkimer’s premier child trafficking spot over to their most visible local ally, Stanley Sykes and his gang, for their own drug and child trafficking use. Stanley was heard to bellow that he paid a franchise fee for the trafficking rights.

Herkimer a Haven for Child Trafficking

It’s not surprising that Herkimer, which has shrugged off wholesale drug trafficking, street assaults and waves of poison gas attacks, might not strain to see child trafficking in its many guises. Folks in this rural New York village have long been conditioned to mind their own business.

Herkimer Child Trafficking Stats

Only after Little Mama and Pretty Boy were gone did we realize that for over 2 years, we’d seen them trafficking about 20 – 40 children a week, right next door, with their Herkimer allies running interference. That’s about 1,000 – 2,000 kids a year.

It’s estimated by humanrights.org that each sexually exploited trafficked child nets on average $100,000 a year to his or her captors. The potential profit  from the 1000 – 2000 children annually trafficked through Herkimer would be $100-200 million.

Child Trafficking by the Numbers

  • Over 300,000 kids a year are sex trafficked in the US, according to figures cited by the Ark of Hope for Children,  (Ark) which  works with rescued young sex trafficked survivors. Based on figures complied by Ark from humanrightrs.org, and extrapolating for children, the annual net profit for a sex trafficked child is about $100,000
  • Kids trafficked for sex range from 1 to 18 years old. Sex trafficking victims up to roughly 25 years old often started as young as 14. (Ark)
  • US human trafficking is a $32 billion-a-year industry
  • Child trafficking’s a hugely profitable business with very low risk: In 2016, the Department of Justice convicted a total of 439 human traffickers, up from 297 in 2015 and 184 in 2014. (humanrights.org)

The Younger the Sex Trafficked Child, the Greater the Profit

Look at the above photo through the calculating  eyes of a child trafficking broker. (Yes, there are such people. Mostly women, we think. They exploit the missing mommy factor.) Which of these kids can you get the most for? Certainly the little girl in the yellow dress is prime. As are the two small girls by the car doors. Says the Ark of Hope for Children:

More money can be earned by [sexually exploited] younger girls and boys, especially virgins. Prepubescent girls are reported to be injected with hormones to bring on puberty. Younger girls are expected to have a greater earning potential, and as such are in greater demand.

Herkimer NY – Bustling Child Trafficking Hub

Herkimer’s ideally sited for the center of an extensive child trafficking network. It’s just off of Route I-90, the New York State Turnpike, a major east-west interstate, and within a few hours of New York, Boston and Canada.

We believe what we saw was primarily a brokerage operation, using Herkimer as a way point for newly acquired kids trafficked to Herkimer from Central New York and beyond, then quickly redistributed to the south and east to be broken in to serve the booming underground sex industry of our major metropolitan areas. (Herkimer’s a sparsely populated rural area.)

The needs of Herkimer area pedophiles are serviced by our regional gangs,  who sell, trade and rent local kids. They and the big time child traffickers appear to honor their non-compete agreements and cooperate on projects of mutual benefit, such as the production of online kiddie porn.

Herkimer national child trafficking hub
Herkimer NY’s ideally located to serve as a major hub of a nationwide child trafficking network. A carload of freshly obtained kids arriving in Herkimer can overnight be redistributed, broken in and placed into service within multiple US and Canada population centers.

Herkimer Child Trafficking–A Multi-Million Dollar Enterprise?

I don’t now what the child trafficking network compensation structure is. And there are obviously many partner syndicates involved in this trafficking cartel. Assume the procuring entity that also  operates the Herkimer child trafficking collection and distribution point receives a modest 10% brokers’ fee per trafficked child. Grant the assumption 1,000 – 2,000 kids a year begin their enslavement as child prostitutes here in Herkimer. The brokerage commission would be $10 – 20 million per year, conservatively. Some of it stays in Herkimer.

That much dirty money in a small struggling community like Herkimer buys a lot of cooperation and silence. And any who might speak up are at risk of their lives, as our poisoned bodies and home attest.

Then there are those kids, probably local and not part of the human trafficking pipeline, who  appear to be briefly stashed with some Herkimer area gang families, and sold or rented locally. We’ve seen a lot of kids come and go here on Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue, shuffled from house to house.  After a while they vanish.

We’ve also seen some indication that Herkimer’s trafficked children have been used to make internet-based kiddie porn, produced and beamed on-line from here on Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue. (The probable Herkimer kiddie porn film studio was abandoned, sold at tax auction.)

Herkimer Child Trafficking–Dead Kids Walking

Kids trafficked by Little Mama through our neighboring Herkimer location usually appeared freshly obtained, innocent of any knowledge of the abuse and brutality they’d soon suffer, prepped and moved into the underground sex trade. We’ve seen a lot of them. They seemed like nice kids. They could be your kids; they could be our kids.

The children  in these videos were trafficked through Herkimer 21 months ago. Unless rescued, they’ll probably  be dead in less than six years:
“[The]…average life span of a [child trafficked for sex] is… 7 years, found dead from attack, abuse, HIV and other STD’s, malnutrition, overdose or suicide,” reports The Ark of Hope for Children.

For almost three years, we witlessly watched thousands of trafficked children slipped through this Herkimer parking lot. That’s a lot of dead kids. We’re so sorry we didn’t notice then. We now watch our neighborhood with new eyes.

Who are your kids with today?

Herkimer Child Trafficking – Why It Took Us 2 Years to Notice

Child Trafficking Relies on Stealth

It was artfully concealed in plain sight, just next door.  Only after Little Mama and Pretty Boy had moved on did we realize they were child traffickers, two busy conductors along America’s bustling underground railroad of sex trafficked kids.

Herkimer child trafficking hub passes to Stanley Sykes gang's Carrie Ann Bass.

Child traffickers create an illusion of normalcy, playing to your preconceptions. Everything you see about them appears ordinary. Nothing jarring, nothing out of context.  Unless you know what to look for, you probably won’t spot their operations.

Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue for years was the perfect child trafficking cover– a noisy, lawless street, bustling with drug traffickers roaring by day and night, and teeming with kids from transient families.  Moving from Florida, we bought our house in March of 2014 and were preoccupied with street harassment and documenting neighborly narcotics trafficking. We pretty much ignored what seemed normal comings and goings.

Little Mama’s Daily Child Shuttle

Almost every morning, five to six days a week, the young woman we named Little Mama drove past our house and into the next-door parking lot with an SUV full of kids, mostly 12 or younger.  Sometimes another car would arrive. with Little Mama. That one typically had 3-4 toddlers. All the children were white. They’d disappear into Little Mama’s 341 Eureka Ave home, a Jay Smith property. Usually they were gone by morning.

Riders not allowed out of the parking. 4th kid–kid on ground– is local, son of Stanley Sykes gang female ally Trash Mouth.

Herkimer Child Trafficking Pattern – Never the Same Kids

Infants and toddlers went into Little Mama’s, but never reappeared. Sometimes the older children would ride bikes, but only in the parking lot. The bikes were issued from the property’s shed.  (The kids on Pleasant Avenue didn’t ride bicycles and weren’t allowed in the  lot.) Little Mama’s younger kids would also play in the parking lot, but only with each other or the Stanley Sykes gang’s kids.

Our older daughter hung out in our backyard a lot. She was the first to notice: “Only one or two of her kids are ever the same.” We started watching, and she was right. But still, we didn’t tumble to it.

A Heck Of A Lot of Kids

We were very distracted, as intended, and didn’t do the math until long after the traffickers moved on. Then we were astounded–over time, that’s  a lot of different kids–easily 1000 a year, possibly as many as 2000, depending on the number of days per year,  number of unique kids per carload and number of vehicles per day.  We don’t know the exact number. But we do know there aren’t that many surplus kids up here in rural New York.

“We never looked too hard–it was just kids.”

At night, cars would quickly come and go from the rear of Little Mama’s 341 Eureka Avenue, with visitors slipping in and out. It being Herkimer, we assumed she was just trafficking drugs. We were wrong.

In the morning Little Mama would drive off alone. We thought she might be  an after-school care provider and the kids had been picked up by their parents the afternoon before, from the front of her house on Eureka Avenue. We never look too hard–it was just kids.

Our back and side yards were so quiet we only hung a camera out there to catch a brazen tomato thief. The camera faithfully recorded the kids, Little Mama and her associates – coming and going. Pity we didn’t keep most of those clips, but it was just kids.

Then the harassment and vandalism began.

Camera Triggers Herkimer Child Traffickers Attacks

Herkimer’s major child traffickers and their principal local allies, the Stanley Sykes gang, wouldn’t have harassed and vandalized us if we hadn’t put up that $50 mom-and-pop camera.  And if they hadn’t, we wouldn’t have looked with new eyes at their activities, or come to the sickening conclusions we finally did. As our neighbor Joyce Barton taught us, Herkimer’s criminals always attack if you put up cameras. Cameras give away their secrets.

Suddenly our fence was being vandalized, our old dog pelted with rocks and metal, our back yard littered with junk hurled from the parking lot.

Easter Sunday 2016, Little Mama had the fake dad of her current consignment of trafficked kids challenge us for having a camera up.. Never saw Easter Dad before this video, haven’t seen him since. Outraged fake parents protesting cameras are a standard Herkimer traffickers’ ploy.

Herkimer Police Officer Jason Crippen Accuses Us Of Trespassing And Dog Enticement

I traded words with Easter Dad in March of 2016. Verbal harassment and junk hurling flavored the mood of the season. Little Mama and Sykes gang’s Carrie Ann Bass took to taunting our older daughter in our backyard, shrieking “Whore!” and “Psycho!” (Carrie Ann Bass is part of the Stanley Sykes gang’s harassment squad.)

On the night of 4/4-4/5/16, our parking lot fence was ravaged. When we went to inspect it from the parking lot side, Little Mama summoned Herkimer cop Jason Crippen, who tried to intimidate us with the threat of trespassing and dog enticement charges. (Crippen later refused to take a well-documented criminal harassment complaint against another cash-heavy Herkimer criminal, Curtis Cool.)

Crippen has done quite well for himself, opening a 9000 sq ft upscale Revamp Fitness in downtown Herkimer. He told News Channel 2 he opened the gym partially out of his concern for Herkimer’s elderly population. Crippen continues his duties as a Herkimer police officer, serving elderly citizens such as us.

Child Trafficking Regional Management Takes Charge

Little Mama’s Regional Management Takes Charge

Little Mama’s management then showed up. (The SUV  with the New Jersey colored plate, top right.)  One of them visited us that day, our escaped dog in tow: early forties, blonde, well-spoken. She could have been a  professional in any large organization, which of course she was. She tacitly apologized for any problems with “our friend Vickie.” The attacks stopped. Cold. It was like a light going out.

We think it was then that the regional child trafficking management team decided to relocate their Herkimer transit point.  Child trafficking, like poisoning, only succeeds through stealth. We were well-known for sharing Herkimer crime on our blog, and Little Mama had idiotically attracted our attention. And then there were those government surveillance drones increasingly dotting Herkimer’s skies.

In August 2016, Little Mama and Pretty Boy relocated their Herkimer child trafficking operation and turned the Pleasant Avenue compound over to the Stanley Sykes gang for safekeeping, with Stanley moving into Little Mama’s 341 Eureka Avenue, still owned by Herkimer landlord Jay Smith.

Enter Master Herkimer Harasser Curtis Cool aka Curtis Doolen

Over the months it took them to transit to a new location, our adjacent child traffickers seemingly called upon a local ally, our neighbor to the other side of us at 328 Pleasant Ave., Herkimer thug Curtis Cool, to keep us distracted. Curtis is a superb actor and gave remarkable performances, as his astounding and ever-growing YouTube views show.  We kept that camera on his house and off of the parking lot. Mostly.

What we saw and videoed in that Herkimer parking lot from mid-August 2016 to the end of that month overcame our denial and left us stricken.
