Herkimer gas attacks have resumed here on Pleasant Avenue and are blossoming with Spring. Having failed to drive us from our house and been only moderately successful in poisoning us in our beds over the last year, our murderous band of neighbors are trying to deny us our backyard.
When we’re out back for more than a few minutes, a poisonous insecticide rolls in. It’s odorless, colorless, its familiar symptoms those of pyrethrim: tongue and lip numbness, drooling, lethargy, itching, short term memory loss, muscle tremors, respiratory problems. The gas quickly disperses, but the symptoms linger for hours. It comes from the direction of King Street.
Assuming its misted from the west of our yard by an easily-concealed handfogger, the pesticide is dispensed toward us from within the circle on the map. The smaller, easily hidden pesticide foggers have a coverage area of 5,000 square feet, according to the handfogger directions. We’re easily in range from any part of that red circle.
Surrounded by Sykes Gang and A Spreading Plague of Vacant Houses
The gas creeps in when we’re out of line of sight of the neighboring yards. This requires spotters–that would be the Sykes gang, long comfortably nested in landlord Jay Smith properties on the other side of us. (See map.) The two houses to S. Sykes left and the one to his right are vacant. (The guys in 332 Pleasant work during the day.) Indeed, over time there’s been a creeping plague of vacant houses overlooking or near the Sykes gang’s domain. This is symptomatic of a ruthless and depraved criminal enterprise expanding it’s turf. Were the houses’ occupants gassed, or did they just think it healthier to move?
Looking at the gassing map (below), the immediate reason for poisoning us is obvious: our house and its cameras look right down the throat of the Stanley Sykes gang’s empire of dirt surrounding the parking lot. (They frequently complain they’ve paid for the right to traffic there and that we need to be gone and they’ll soon see us on our way.)
Herkimer Gas Attacks Map – March 2018
March 2018 Gassing Attacks
3/30/18 1200 hrs. Warm day. Gassed in backyard from the direction of King Street as we stood on backstairs. Only direction not within sight or fully fully covered by cameras.
3/11/18 Installing light on back steps when yard misted with pyrethrim. Usual symptoms. Attack appeared to come from backyard several houses down Pleasant Avenue from the King Street side, given prevailing wind and that I was watching immediately adjacent houses and yards on Pleasant and Eureka Avenues as worked.

Curtis Cool Continues to Rule
9,100 Views, 27,000 Minutes Watchtime
Herkimer’s iconic Curtis Cool’s antics are responsible for about 50% of all our Herkimer crime video views. Assaults and trafficking by the Stanley Sykes gang, Joyce Barton and Herkimer’s Historic Crack House Keeper account for most of the rest. (The Sykes’ gang is trending nicely. ) With Facebook News now taking an interest in our blog, we hope the influx of new readers and viewers will continue to send the Herkimer Post soaring as we offer fresh, newsworthy Herkimer crime insights.
There’s been a concerted effort by the Herkimer Police and Herkimer’s -legacy criminals to avoid creating arrest-worthy, video-worthy incidents. But only when the Sykes’s and the Bartons and their trafficking are gone from Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue will the street become fully habitable again and real estate salable.
The waves of poison gas attacks of last year have settled into a war of attrition, with snipers surrounding us; executing pesticide attacks from hand foggers whenever we venture out. The gas of course rolls on down the street over law abiding people and pets.
Note to prospective Pleasant Avenue real estate sellers and their agents:
Taking a property off of the market and then renting it to criminals who spray poisons is not a winning sales strategy.
A ‘Speak no evil’ philosophy empowered this criminal stronghold. While Justice Brandeis has given effective advice – “Sunlight is the best disinfectant”. As Herkimer Post views surge, we provide this sunlight.
Herkimer gassing of 2/27/18 – I was in my backyard and then entered my home experiencing itchiness, burning skin sensations and nausea. I went out the front door (position 1) and observed a small black sedan backing out of a driveway near 324 Pleasant Ave (position 2). This vehicle headed west towards PK’s pub. It parked on the north side roughly at position labelled 3 on the above map. A person exited the vehicle and ran briskly towards the home located near #3. At the same time there was a small black sedan parked near #4 on the above map. The license number of one of these vehicles (obtained 2 minutes later after one vehicle had departed) was FSE-9699.
I was suspicious of the vehicle backing out from the driveway labeled 2 because it drove such a short distance. Why not walk a distance of several houses rather than drive? And if the purpose was to park close to PK’s pub, why not turn around in one of the several vacant driveways that were closer to the pub?
The prevailing wind at this time was from the west. I believe that poison pesticide sprayed from position #2 resulted in the symptoms that I experienced. These symptoms are consistent with Deltmethrin, a popular pyrethroid insecticide manufactured in Canada.
For months, depraved criminals openly used weapons of mass destruction to poison us, our neighbors, and much of South Herkimer Village, drifting toxic mists forming from the witch’s brew of pesticides they released on us.
Thanks to law enforcement drone surveillance coordinated with ground intercepts, the driveby poison gas attacks on us using hand foggers here on Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue have been stopped. The last driveby gas attack we noted was on 10/11, and that didn’t seem part of the earlier coordinated attacks. Those had ended some weeks before. Anyone arrested is probably looking at some heavy federal prison time. Anyone not arrested is probably sweating being turned in for lighter sentences.
The Last Herkimer Poison Gas Attacks?
The last Herkimer poison gas attacks on our home (330 Pleasant Avenue) that we noted were on 11/14 between 9:00 and 9:15 pm, and 11/22 at 3:30 a.m. Both attacks were from either the rear or the 328 Pleasant side of our house. They were close together, each signaled by multiple “Whomps” of released compression, like a mortar firing or a bear’s loud whuff. The pesticide was probably released by timer in an attempt to outwit drone surveillance by an absence of suspects in the likely areas at the reported time of the attack. Any toxics fired down our driveway also poisoned the street and neighboring homes.
Herkimer Poison Gas Attacks – The Bad News
Although the driveby poison gas sprayers seem gone, other poisoners are still here. They’re part of the back and side yard gassing squad.
These were coordinated attacks, using a carefully chosen array of pesticides and agricultural pesticide dispensing equipment. Given the limited nature of the Sykes gang members, a rogue agricultural pesticide expert was probably consulted. Gassing attacks from yards continued after the drivebys ended. Larger poisoning gear was probably set for late night timed release, as it was in this video. The video shows the two types of attacks, streaming and misting. Watch carefully on the lower right at 0.48, and you’ll see the poison mist from a handfogger enter the yard next door from the driveway, then dissipate.
Herkimer Poison Gas Attacks — the Creepy Stalking Meth Heads
Here’s a video showing two of our camera-shy, suspected poison gassers. They specialize in the late night gassing of us from rear and side yards. We call them Thing 1 and Thing 2, or collectively, the drunks. (They’re on a different road to Hell than alcohol, but their speech is often slurred.) They’re creepy.
These two depraved specimens of the ravages of meth amphetamine addiction have had much to do with the scores of overlapping poison gas attacks on us, here on Herkimer’s Pleasant Avenue. They’re proud of their work and will come up to you on the sidewalk and ask with a grin, “How do you like being gassed?” (Reply: “How do you like going to Hell?”)
I call them Thing 1 and Thing 2, and collectively, the drunks, as they often sound drunk. They’re known associates of Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes gang, which is embedded in two Jay Smith houses on the other side of us, at 334 Pleasant Avenue and 341 Eureka Avenue. The Sykes’ gang loudly holds us and our video-rich blog responsible for their unprofitable trafficking operations. (For a long time, they didn’t believe in surveillance drones, and so never bothered to look up.)
Nightime Stalkers
Night often finds the drunks stalking our property, making mischief and peering at our cameras to see if the little red lights are on. In this video, one of them immediately notices our door camera is missing (firmware update), and comes to check on our health and try to scope out the locks and sensors. He ignores two No Trespassing signs. He asks for me. He was told he was trespassing and sent off. Typically, our criminal visitors ask for whichever one of us the two of us doesn’t answer the door. They’re sent to see if we’re yet sickened and dying.
The nighttime drunk in the video contents himself with scoping out our street-side cameras and either chatting with them, or possibly blessing us and our home.
We’ve heard Stanley Sykes declare to his krew that he paid for the right to traffic out of his multi-house Herkimer location and vow that we will soon be gone. (In fairness, Stanley did offer us $1,500 for our house.)
Herkimer’s Stanley Sykes, the Addicts’ Friend
Herkimer Sykes gang head Stanley Sykes, suspected Poison Gassings Coordinator. Sykes is shown here trespassing on our property and harassing us. He’s was as always belligerent and threatening. In the video from which this photo was taken, Sykes can be seen to be lying, as his lips are moving.
That’s the drunks’ yard seen from our back bedroom. The photo was taken on 11/22/17, the date of the last known poison gas attack on us. The two were apparently then gifted with the contents of those small white plastic bags littering their yard. Stanley Sykes was seen visiting them that day.
Yard of 326 Pleasant Avenue, a Jay Smith rental property. Photo taken from our rear bedroom window 11/22/17, the day of the last poison gas attack on us. The window has often been sprayed with pesticide. Herkimer meth head gassing suspects Thing I and Thing 2 have long lived here. The white plastic bags of the type suddenly littering their yard are often used to deliver retail-size portions of crystal meth. Syke’s gang’s Stanley Sykes was seen at 326 Pleasant Avenue that day.
Both human husks are long-term tenants at Jay Smith’s 326 Pleasant Avenue. Harriett Tangorra’s vacant 328 Pleasant lies between us, it’s backyard wide open to them and pesticide dispensers. The houses on either side of their’s are for sale. Probably will be for a while.
Long Term Effects of Herkimer Poison Gas Attacks
The effects of these heinous attacks will continue to impact us, our neighbors and pets, and the Herkimer village environment for a long time. We’ve had health issues attributable to pesticide exposure. Our backyard remains toxic. Our beautiful birds are gone, poisoned in our yard from Sykes’ yard. We didn’t know that by feeding them, we were luring them to their deaths. And still, our poisoners are here.
